As we move towards the last third of 2024, dates for trade shows in the UK and internationally happening in 2025 are being announced.
Trade shows are a great way of getting your drinks brand on to the international stage and in front of potential buyers and distributors who can engage with and sample your product. We are collating a list of trade shows for the drinks industry in the UK and across the world as a useful resource. This will be updated as the year progresses and we receive new information so do keep checking back for new events.
Even if you can’t attend a tradeshow in-person that is relevant to your business, you can still benefit from them:
- Follow the social media accounts for a tradeshow that you are interested in and engage with its posts: liking, commenting on and sharing posts that are relevant to your business will help to increase your reach, bring you to the attention of the account (who is an influencer) and may encourage them to follow your social media accounts as well as like, comment on and share your posts, bringing your posts to the attention of their followers who are likely to be your target audience.
- Follow the hashtag for a tradeshow: when a tradeshow is taking place, there is a great opportunity to engage with a tradeshow’s hashtag and join the conversation. For instance, the Trade Drinks Expo in the UK uses the hashtag #TradeDrinksExpo and you can search for this hashtag on social media platforms and follow the conversation around it in real time, enabling you to comment, like and share posts, using the hashtag yourself, and putting yourself into the conversation, increasing your reach and brand awareness.
